About the author

Sammy Jo Pendergrast was born in Alvin, Texas on February 16, 1994. At a young age, she moved with her family to Franklin, Tennessee and spent most of her childhood there. From a young age, she loved films and fantasy books. After becoming inspired by her favorite book series, she began writing fanfiction in middle school. It wasn’t until much later; did she finally start writing her own fantasy stories including her on-going series “Bluestar.” Many have called her an out-of-this-world author with her creations of galaxies, races, and languages in her series that pull the reader in. Her imagination has no bounds! When she’s not writing, Sammy spends her time with family and daydreaming film ideas as well as video game concepts for her series.
