A former manager of the UCLA Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, she is a sought-after speaker (nationally and internationally) and author of hundreds of articles, book chapters, and books including two ASM Press books, Clinical Laboratory Management, Second Edition and Diagnostic Medical Parasitology, Sixth Edition.
