Someone once said, if you have a candle, you don’t hide it under a basket. That’s what I was going to do with this. I intended writing it just for myself. Now I’m thinking people, and their good deeds, like candles, deserve to be shown to others. It’s a shame for them not to be seen.

I dedicate this to a friend, Edward Brophy, with whom I went to college. It’s also dedicated to all the others who were with us on that day, and with whom I shared that house – especially Vinny, Ciaran and the Boys.

To all of you, thank you for the memories. Edward – thank you for being a great guy and a great friend.
